An awesome volunteer of

This is Joanne Fortin, and she has an excellent knack for making spaces as pleasant as possible. Here Joanne is sorting Fall decorations before placing them around the library to produce that great Autumn atmosphere. The Fort Kent Public Library relies on our volunteers so much, and most of our patrons might not notice. Our volunteers clean, organize, decorate, cover books, and all sorts of things to help. A few times a week, someone will walk into the the Library, stop in their tracks, and proclaim, "This is such a beautiful library!" We have Joann Fortin and our other volunteers to thank for that.
