The Fort Kent Public Library is starting a new reading program aimed at adults and young adults. We've based the program on the classic boardgame of Monopoly, but with a 50/50 dynamic. People pay $10 (in real money, not game money) when they pick up the player sheet at the FKPL. As participants read books according to the game directions, they earn tickets that go into a drawing. The more tickets a player earns, the greater their chance of winning. At the end of the game (April 30), we will have a drawing and the winning ticket holder receives half of the funds we raised. The other half goes to the library to support our programs.
Come to the FKPL to pick up your gameboard and join the challenge!
