Librarian Irene Murphy observes the tactics and strategies of two of the young patrons of the Fort Kent Public Library. Young people come with their parents to the library all the time to take advantage of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) resources the library provides. On the second and fourth Thursday of each month, the library hosts the Focus on Homeschooling Program which provides learning resources for all levels of learning and presentations by local experts on a wide variety of topics. It is a common sight to see young people practicing critical thinking skills.
