That Big Helpful Dog that Came to the Library

fortkentpubliclibr

On April 10, the Focus on Homeschools group invited a Madawaska man and his HUMONGOUS English Mastiff to teach the kids how to interact with a service dog. The handler showed kids how to speak first to the handler before interacting with the dog. He explained that the dogs are working, and they need the permission of their handler before they can socialize in public. Despite his titanic size, this big boy still loved all the attention from the kids who had many questions.
